Great tasting food and well priced.
We went to the jade last night. When we booked the table we said we would be taking an older disabled lady who can't walk well or far. When we got there we were right in a corner it was really busy I explained to the waitress that it was stupid to let my mum try to push through to get seated but she told my mum to try the 2 men that were blocking the walk way with there chairs didn't want to move there seats in so. mum nearly feel over. The rest of us had to walk the longer way round. This is disgusting. It was packed in there mum would never of been able to go to the toliet she couldn't get out. The service was really slow there wasn't enough staff on. We sat for well over half an hour between every course and still no one came to serve us we had to call them when we could get there attention. The price for drinks is out of this world. And when we left the waitress nearly pulled mum of her feet by grabbing her arm when she was slowly walking with her stick and holding my daughters arm i tryed to stop her to be pushed out the way and her saying she wanted my mum i was furious mums only just had a full hip replacement were she fell over and she gave my mum a bottle of drink J2o for the inconvenience of the night what an insult we wont be back.
Food was fine, but the veggie stuff was always about 10 mins after everything else. Service was attentive, but the ambiance was lacking.
The food here is very good .There is an extensive menu .The restaurant is very large and we found it quite coldThere seemed to be only two small blow heaters! The restaurant lacks atmosphere but if it's just the food you are after it is a good choice
Been coming here since it opened back in the 80s! Tonight was the first time I have been since Mike left and looking at some of the reviews left here I was a bit apprehensive, but I didn't need to worry. The food was as good as ever and the staff were brilliant. Anything off of the menu for 20 each means that you can mix up old favourites and try new dishes too. Still Fabulous!
