This branch was supposed to collect a parcel bought on Ebay on my behalf. They arbitrarily rejected the parcel, kept no record of the transaction / interaction. In fact they claimed that I had come to the wrong store. I had to show them the collection details to prove I was in the correct place. They then claimed that I did not follow some collect plus procedure, which I had and showed them proof it was the case. Finally they claimed it was not their fault it was a fault with the system. I was polite during the interaction however I was aware when they lied and I showed them proof that I was aware of the lies. not aggressive thing else. The staff took no responsibility or initiative to help me understand the situation and blamed every option they could. All that was necessary was to acknowledge the mistake and apologise. They will now be dealing directly with Ebay, who are aware of their failure and I hope they receive a severe sanction and repremand. Mistakes are understandable however I expect duty manager working that evening (23/11/2018) would have the courtesy to be honest and look to understand the situation rather that dismiss it. I will work to ensure the consequences are amplified and they and all understand the nature of their failures and that they cannot be trusted.
