Clean and well presented. The staff on reception and the pharmacy are very cheerful and welcoming. This feels like a slick operation with all the best intentions of providing good health care

This used to be a practice that provided a great service. It is now the worst GP service I have ever experienced.Dr Kneissl

This health centre USED TO provide excellent service and care but now I have absolutely no confidence in the place. You can never get an appointment in your own village since they joined surgeries with Linton, Royston etc. You never get to see the same doctor so an issue is not seen through by one GP. My mum has been in severe pain since March, it took 4 appointments before they sent her for an X-ray (this didn't show anything) she's still in very bad pain and cries daily. This is how they have left her. They should be ashamed of themselves

Overall I think they try their best, like a lot of surgeries they've been hit by the economic climate which has an effect on their ability to provide the best service. They were much better a couple of years ago, but I understand their challenges since they have integrated with the other local surgeries. Personally I think the same day service is an issue, how do you define what is/isn't urgent? I feel the resource pumped into this (no matter how good the service is), pushes back the level of service/care on the standard appointment service. Overall I have found the majority of staff/doctors to be very good, maybe just overworked at times which can make them a bit stressed. 2 years ago I would easily have given 5 stars, and for certain reasons I could be excused for giving less than 4. However when I think about how they compare with other surgeries I have used, they do sit in the better bunch.

I have been coming here all my life and when Dr Gelson was here me and my family received the finest care . There was a time that it went a bit wobbly but the demands are huge now on this surgery the numbers of patients increase dramatically and that will get worse with the new developments. Under Dr Al Sheik me and my family have received prompt appointments urgent responses fast treatment including onwards to Addenbrookes for my elderly parents heart conditions and macular degeneration My nephew with young adult cancer myself for hiatus hernia and thyroid and also a wasp sting. Many different things and all well handled . My thanks to the medical teams but also the admin staff who are very helpful and efficient . Urgent treatments same day and I dont mind to wait for non urgent appointments and at this time of year doctors and nurses take holiday as well. We are very lucky here I appreciate that
